Let’s BRUNCH | Ideen für euren Brunch | Wir nehmen euch mit
Hey, welcome to my channel and a new video from me. Today, I have a voice over intro because I unfortunately deleted or forgot to record the proper intro, who knows for sure? Anyway, my sisters and I took you along with us as we prepared for our Mother’s Day brunch. We thought it would be interesting to share what we prepare for brunch, which is always exciting to see what others prepare. For those who aren’t exactly looking for brunch ideas, we hope you enjoy this video as well.
We planned to have a mix of sweet and savory, warm and cold dishes, as well as a French omelette, which is a must for us. Let’s get started. We will first make the salad because it needs some time to cool down. Normally, salads are cold dishes, but we wanted to add the bulgur, which requires cooking for about 10 minutes. As you can see, we added four glasses of water to two glasses of bulgur and let it cook on the stove. Meanwhile, we cut the cucumber and feta cheese, which are also added to the salad. We had forgotten to add some ingredients, but that’s okay. In the meantime, I have arranged a plate of cheese, including camembert, mozzarella, and two different herb-flavored cheeses.
Our bulgur is now done, and we mix it with the other ingredients for the salad. While it cools, we prepare a plate of salami, three different types of cheese, and some smoked salmon. We also prepared a bowl of yogurt and oats for those who prefer something light for brunch. Additionally, we prepared a plate of fruit, which can be added to the yogurt or enjoyed on its own.
Next, we make some mini pizzas by spreading some pesto on sliced baguette and topping it with cherry tomatoes, garlic, onions, basil, and mozzarella cheese. We bake them in the oven for 15 minutes at 200°C. We also made some boiled eggs—deciding to cook them medium—using a fun egg timer that you may have seen in our previous video.
Finally, we prepare a dish of hummus using chickpeas, olive oil, garlic, shallots, cucumber, feta cheese, and parsley. We had forgotten to add olives to the dish, which would have been perfect as well. We mix it all up and have it ready to serve.
Now that our table is set and everything is prepared, it’s time to enjoy the fruits of our labor. We hope you enjoyed this video and took some inspiration for your own brunch ideas.
