With this lovely weather, I can make a delicious coffee at any time. I make a traditional filter coffee. Of course, you can make coffee with crushed ice or freeze coffee as ice cubes, but that requires preparation time, and you definitely need a kitchen machine or a stand mixer, which not everyone has.

That’s why I prefer the traditional way of making an iced coffee. It is the best, and you always have the opportunity to offer coffee when unexpected guests come over. We drink a lot of coffee, and I collect the leftover coffee in the coffee pot. When we feel like having an iced coffee, I can make it at any time. I also have vanilla ice cream at home, which I always keep on hand, just in case.

If someone does not want to have an iced coffee on that day, I discard the leftover coffee and collect new ones for the next day. To make my iced coffee, I first check the weather to ensure that it is sunny enough to enjoy. Then I beat the whipped cream and put it in a pastry bag. I will show you how to make this delicious iced coffee.

I think our beloved Bär should go to a speech therapist. She adds an “n” sound to every word she speaks. You can also use whipped cream, but I prefer not to. For an iced coffee without crushed ice, I say, “No thanks.” I don’t feel like cleaning the machine again. I’d rather have a traditional filtered coffee.

To make my traditional iced coffee, I use vanilla ice cream. I bought homemade ice cream, but you can use any type you like. I put 2-3 scoops of ice cream in a glass, depending on its size. I make one with alcohol and one without. For the one with alcohol, I add a bit of Captain Morgan’s Rum. For the non-alcoholic one, I just add chilled coffee.

Then I add the whipped cream on top of the iced coffee. I sweeten the whipped cream with two sachets of vanilla sugar and sugar to taste. Finally, I add a little caramel sauce around the rim of one glass and chocolate sauce around the other. I had leftover caramel sauce from making milk for my daughter. You can also use jam or any sauce of your choice.

I mix the ingredients in the glass for a while and then add the toppings. For one glass, I sprinkle some chopped nuts on top of the whipped cream and add a little more caramel sauce. For the other, I sprinkle grated chocolate on top.
