Die Küchenschlacht vom 2. November

Yesterday was quite an intense day for all the candidates in the Küchenschlacht. There was chaos like never before, and I couldn’t get over it. Some people may label it as a disaster, but Mario saved me, and I am grateful to him. The tension was so high, and to top it all off, it was filmed live. I still feel a little bit uncomfortable that I went through all of that while being filmed, but it’s a great experience to look back on.

The cooking itself was amazing. All the candidates prepared fantastic dishes, but the vegan dish was the clear winner. It was delicious, and I was proud of everyone; it was a fantastic team. We all agreed that it was the best dish and congrats to the winner. It was great to see that Thomas Martin enjoyed the vegan dish.

Anita Buri’s salad was one of the best things on the table, and we all enjoyed it. The decision at the end of the day was very intense, and I’m glad I didn’t have to make it. I was a wackelkandidat, and it was an excellent experience for me. I learned so much, and I’m grateful for everything.

Moving on to today, the pressure is still on with the appetizers. The challenge is to make something small, appetizing, and beautifully presented, and that is not an easy task. I have no doubts that today will be equally as chaotic, if not more, but that’s the fun of the show. The five candidates will have 35 minutes to cook their appetizers, and I’m excited to see what they come up with.

The Tuesday appetizers may not sound as exciting as other days, but they’re just as important. Appetizers are an essential aspect of any meal, and they need to be perfect. They should be small, elegant, and make you salivate for the main course. It’s not something that people often prepare at home, so it’s exciting to see what the candidates come up with.

We have five contestants today, and it’s great to see Richard Rauch as the judge. He’s a fantastic chef from Austria and a great addition to the team. Hannah is the first contestant, and she’s making a three-course tartare with s-bahn korallen, which sounds exciting. Dennis is bringing us roasted Mediterranean vegetables with soy sauce chicken skewers and a honey dip, and it looks delicious. Ursula showcases an Asian-inspired dish with duck and parsnip cream. Uli, a true Wagner, is making a parmesan-wrapped goat cheese appetizer, which looks amazing. And last but not least, we have Sarah, who’s making a savory cherry tomato pie.

I’m excited to see what these talented chefs will come up with for their appetizers. It’s only the beginning of the week, and we already have so many exciting dishes to look forward to. Let’s see who impresses the judges, and I can’t wait to taste these dishes myself.
