Hello everyone and welcome back to my YouTube channel! Today, I have a very special video for you because last week, I started an experiment and mainly consumed alkaline-based foods for a week. I wanted to see how my body would react, what advantages a base fasting diet has, and share my experiences with you. So, let’s get started!

Firstly, it’s important to know that our body’s pH and acidity levels depend on our food, but also other factors such as the time of day and our psyche. If we experience stress, our pH levels can change. The goal is to create balance and harmony and to achieve an optimal pH level. However, throughout the day, there will be highs and lows, which is normal and necessary.

During the experiment, I monitored my pH levels five times a day using test strips and recorded the results. I found that I was over-acidic and decided to start the base fasting diet. Here are some recipe ideas that I tried:

Day 1: Oven-roasted veggies with potatoes, broccoli, onions, and mushrooms seasoned with garlic, olive oil, and herbs. I also added grains and spices for a delicious crunch.

Day 2: Baked potato wedges with curry seasoning and garlic, served with guacamole, and sautéed beans, tomatoes, zucchini, and mushrooms on a bed of lettuce.

Day 3: Salad of lettuce topped with chopped beets, shredded cucumber, and a soy dip with olives and nuts on the side.

Day 4: Baked potatoes with fennel, carrots, and sweet corn in a creamy sauce. Served with a soy dip and a salad of mixed greens.

Day 5: A mix of greens topped with chopped zucchini, onions, and red pepper cooked in the oven with garlic and olive oil. Served with steamed green beans and grains for extra nutrition.

Overall, I noticed positive effects on my digestion and less bloating. I also learned to be more mindful and conscious of what I was eating by planning and keeping a record. Lastly, I enjoyed my meals more and felt satisfied with smaller portions.

In conclusion, I highly recommend trying a base fasting diet or incorporating more alkaline foods into your diet for a healthier and more balanced lifestyle. Thank you for watching and see you in my next video!
