The majority of you requested a recipe without alcohol, so that’s what I’ll be sharing today. However, I will still be sticking to the classic theme of the recipe.

Let me know in the comments if there is any interest in this recipe. Now, let’s move on to the ingredients and the preparation. We first need to soak the ladyfingers in cocoa powder. Of course, you can also use coffee, but I prefer the taste of cocoa. Simply prepare a cup of coffee or espresso and hold the ladyfingers in it for only 12 seconds. Any longer will cause them to absorb too much liquid and become too soggy.

Once you have soaked the ladyfingers, sprinkle some sugar over them (if desired) and spread half of the mascarpone cream on top. Repeat this step with another layer of ladyfingers and top it off with the remaining mascarpone cream. I like to add some decorative touches by piping the cream into beautiful shapes using a piping bag.

Now, place the tiramisu in the fridge for at least six hours or overnight, until the ladyfingers are soft and the flavors have melded together. When it is time to serve, you can sprinkle some cocoa powder on top for added flavor.

I usually don’t bother cutting my tiramisu into slices because it is difficult to make it look pretty. Instead, I scoop it out of the dish with a spoon and place it on the plate. It may not look picture-perfect, but it still tastes delicious.
