Omas Rührkuchen Rezept ganz saftig, leicht und fluffig | Aschkuchen Gugelhupf selber machen

The recipe for a good cake is simple, yet so easy to get wrong. If you don’t follow the recipe correctly, your cake will be dry, tasteless and not enjoyable to eat. However, if you follow the original recipe of my grandma, your cake will turn out moist, fluffy and buttery soft, perfectly fit for any occasion. So, let’s get started and try making it for ourselves.

Today, I will share with you how to make a delicious marble cake. I have sprinkled mine with powdered sugar, but you can get creative and cover it with sugar glaze, chocolate or sprinkles. For this cake, you will need 280 grams of flour, 300 grams of sugar, a cup of oil, a pack of baking powder, four eggs, a pinch of salt, 200 milliliters of water and two tablespoons of cocoa for coloring.

First, we need to grab a big bowl and add the sugar and the four eggs. We whisk it until it becomes foamy. This is important as it helps the eggs to mix well with the dough. Then, we add all the other ingredients, such as the salt, baking powder, flour, oil, and water. We take extra care to add them gradually, not all at once. This prevents the formation of lumps in the dough. Once we have mixed all the ingredients well, our dough is ready.

We then fill the cake mold with more than half of the dough, which should be liquid enough to spread evenly. We set the mold aside and focus on the remaining dough, adding cocoa powder to it. You can also use food coloring or other ingredients to give your cake a unique appearance. Next, we take a fork to create swirls with both the light and dark dough. We don’t have to mix them thoroughly, just enough to make a beautiful pattern.

Our cake is then baked in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes. Afterward, we take it out of the oven, let it cool down and decorate it with powdered sugar, sugar glaze or any other decoration of our choosing. The result is a delicious, fluffy and moist marble cake.

I hope you have fun trying out this recipe and enjoy the results. Don’t forget to let me know how it turned out for you in the comments section. Until next time, stay safe and bon appétit.
