Erdbeer - Limette - Bowle, sehr erfrischend
“Hello dear friend, welcome to my calendar’s kitchen. Doesn’t it look lovely?” I exclaimed. “And it tastes amazing too! We just made a huge bowl of strawberry punch and we thought that we should make a nice delicious strawberry tart as well. If you’re interested, I’ll show you how easy it is to make.”
It’s strawberry season, and we have big baskets of them! We’ve already filled two large bowls with them, and we thought, why not make a beautiful and tasty dessert out of them? My daughter helped me prepare them by slicing them up, and now we’re ready to make our tart.
First, we need all the liquid ingredients in our mixing bowl. Whatever you have on hand or in your pantry will work just fine. I’m going to start with RB7, but you can use your own homemade strawberry syrup if you have it. We’ll need three 100 ml shots of that. Then we’ll add a splash of lime juice for freshness. If you have fresh limes, you can juice them yourself, but we’re using store-bought juice for convenience. We’ll need about half a lime’s worth of juice. Lastly, we’ll add the seeds from a vanilla pod. All we need to do is scrape the seeds out using a butter knife.
Next, we’ll add the strawberry slices. We have over a kilo of strawberries, which is more than enough for our tart. We’ve cut them up into small pieces so that they’ll fit nicely in our tart. Once we’ve added the strawberries, we’ll add a splash of alcohol. I’m using peach schnapps, but you can use any alcohol you like. Just be careful not to overdo it!
Now it’s time to taste. We’ll take a small spoonful and see if we need to adjust any of the ingredients. Maybe it needs more lime, or maybe it needs more sweetness. It’s up to you how you want your tart to taste.
Finally, we’ll add the mixture to our pre-baked pie crust. We’ll let it cool and set in the fridge for a few hours before serving. While it’s setting, we can garnish it with some sliced limes or lemons. When it’s ready, it’ll be a beautiful, refreshing, and delicious dessert that everyone will love.
Now it’s time to try it! The lime flavor really makes the strawberry taste pop, and it’s not too sweet. It’s perfect for a hot summer day. I hope you enjoy making this tart as much as I did, and please let me know in the comments how it turns out for you. Thank you for joining me in my kitchen, and I wish you all the best until next time."
