One thing I found interesting about this video is that Sally recommends using a kitchen machine to knead the pasta dough, as it can be quite tough to knead by hand. However, she also gives tips on what to do if you don’t have a machine.
I also appreciated the fact that Sally explained the importance of using the correct amount of flour and eggs in the dough, as well as the temperature and humidity of the room in which you’re making it. She also reminded us that the water used to cook the pasta should be salty, in order to enhance its flavor.
Overall, I found this video to be very informative, as Sally gives clear instructions and plenty of tips throughout. I also enjoyed the fact that she showed us so many different ways to make pasta/noodles, using various ingredients that I wouldn’t have thought of myself. It’s definitely inspired me to try making pasta from scratch!
