Bruschetta mit geröstetem Knoblauch - Westmünsterland BBQ

Hey and welcome to Westmünsterland Barbecue! In today’s video, we’re going to make something deliciously Italian that is also incredibly easy to make and tastes fantastic. We’re making a special version of bruschetta that I think is going to be absolutely amazing.

Before we get started, I want to clarify that while many Germans call this dish “Nabu Scatter” or simply “bruschetta,” we are going to pronounce it correctly as “Brooks Cat Dach” to stay true to its Italian roots.

To make our special version of this classic Italian dish, we start by roasting or frying a large quantity of garlic. We’ll use a pot to do this, and it may take a bit of time, but the end result will be worth it. Once the garlic is soft and fragrant, we’ll remove it from the pot and set it aside.

Next, we’ll prepare our tomatoes by removing the stems and chopping them into small cubes. We’ll mix the tomatoes with salt, pepper, olive oil, and some torn basil leaves to create a delicious topping.

To prepare the bread, we’ll use thick slices of white bread that we’ll toast on the grill until they’re nice and crispy. Then, we’ll spread a generous amount of butter mixed with the roasted garlic on each slice and top with our tomato mixture.

The result is a dish that is bursting with flavor, thanks to the combination of roasted garlic, fresh tomatoes, and fragrant basil. It’s also incredibly satisfying, as the crispy bread and creamy butter create a nice contrast to the juicy tomatoes.

I hope you enjoyed this recipe and learned something new about making bruschetta. It’s a perfect appetizer or snack for any occasion, and it’s so easy to make that anyone can do it. Plus, by using fresh ingredients and pronouncing the name correctly, we can pay homage to the dish’s Italian heritage and truly savor its deliciousness.
