For this salad, we need vegetables such as iceberg lettuce, a few tomatoes, and a cucumber, as well as mayonnaise - it can also be low-calorie. I prefer a certain brand, but any other brand will do just fine. We also need four hard-boiled eggs, grated cheese or, for example, ham cubes, and seasonings such as salt and pepper.

Let’s start by taking care of the eggs, as they need to be hard-boiled before further processing. Then, we turn to the main ingredient: iceberg lettuce. The tricky part is removing the stem so that it can be easier to cut. However, there is an easy trick for that. Simply put the stem down on the work surface and hit it with your fist once. Then, grab the stem and twist it to remove it - no need to use a knife! Cut the remaining leaves into bite-sized pieces.

Now, we need to do some more preparation. Peel and slice the hard-boiled eggs, cut the cucumber, and slice the tomatoes. Then, put everything in a large bowl, along with the lettuce. Add mayonnaise (about 125 to 150 milliliters) and mix everything well. Sprinkle some grated cheese on top, add some pepper, and season with salt - I like using herbal salt for this. Finally, mix everything well with a fork or spoon and let the salad sit for a bit.

This salad is perfect as a side dish for a barbecue or as a light dinner. You could also pair it with a hot dog or a piece of baguette. I highly recommend you try making it yourself - it only takes a few minutes and is absolutely delicious! Enjoy your meal!
