Hallo zusammen! Last year, I announced that I would like to share some cooking videos with you, and today, I’m excited to share a delicious broccoli gratin that’s super easy to make and extremely tasty. Stick around, and I’ll show you how to make it.
First, start by cutting the broccoli into florets. Remove the stem and cut the broccoli into bite-sized pieces. Boil them in salted water for about eight minutes until they are slightly tender. Drain them and set them aside.
Next, make the cream sauce. Mix heavy cream and milk, and add your favorite spices. I recommend a pinch of salt, black pepper, and paprika. In a separate bowl, whisk together some eggs, and set them aside.
In a pan, sauté some diced onions. Add minced garlic, and give it a good stir. Pour in the cream sauce and let it come to a boil. Lastly, add the whisked eggs and stir everything together.
Now it’s time to assemble everything. Pour the broccoli into a baking dish, and pour the cream mixture over it. Add some grated cheese on top, if you like. Bake it in the oven for about 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
And voila! Your broccoli gratin is ready. It’s a great side dish for any meal, and it’s perfect for vegetarians. You can also make it a bit healthier by substituting the cream with milk and the cheese with nutritional yeast.
I hope you enjoy making this dish as much as I did. Don’t forget to let me know how it turns out in the comments below. Thanks for watching and I’ll see you in the next video. Tschüss!
