Hey guys and welcome to a new episode of “Zeugt vom Chef”. Today, we will be making these polenta sticks and I will show you how to do it after the introduction. To make these, we will need some milk, which I will put in a pot with some water, salt, rosemary, and paprika. You can adjust the amount of spices according to your preferences.
We let this mixture boil for a bit, stirring occasionally to ensure it doesn’t boil over. Then, we add the polenta in gradually, using a whisk to mix it in. The mixture should become thicker and glossy as we mix it. Once it’s done, we spread it out on a baking sheet and let it cool before cutting it into sticks.
After it has cooled down, we can cut it into sticks or other shapes of our choosing. For this recipe, I’m cutting it into ten sticks of equal size. We can cook these polenta sticks in a pan with some olive oil until they’re crispy and golden brown.
The result is a delicious and versatile snack that can be enjoyed with a variety of dips and sauces. I highly recommend giving this recipe a try and experimenting with different seasonings and shapes.
