Henzler Schnelle, today we’re having an iceberg lettuce. We’ve been eating at home a lot lately, but this iceberg salad is a perfect addition to our meals, especially with some homemade dressing. For the dressing, we’re going to use orange, lemon, yogurt, salt, and sugar.

Before we start, let me tell you something interesting about iceberg lettuce. Did you know that it was the first commercially grown lettuce in the US? It was introduced in the 1800s, and it’s been a staple ingredient in salads ever since.

Now, let’s get back to our salad. The first step is taking out the iceberg lettuce from the fridge. Sometimes it gets stuck due to ice formation. If that’s the case, use a trick to remove it by gently pulling it out and splitting it into halves.

Once you have the lettuce, cut it into smaller pieces and wash it thoroughly. Then, add a pinch of salt, and mix it well. Be careful not to add too much salt, as the dressing will also have some salt content.

For the dressing, we’re going to use natural yogurt, orange juice, lemon juice, and sugar. Take one beaker of natural yogurt and mix it well until it’s smooth. Now, add the juice of one orange and one lemon to the yogurt and mix it again.
