Today at Henzler, I had been contemplating for a while about sharing a homemade bread recipe with you all, but using Brubeck machines and Tiff seemed a bit too time-consuming. However, my kitchen director, who happens to be currently strong on camera, has developed a sensational recipe for an easy and quick olive-flavored bread with just a few ingredients.

Don’t worry, the ingredients are very minimal and include only water, yeast, salt, olive oil, curry powder, and flour. To begin with, start by mixing lukewarm water, yeast, and sugar, and let them dissolve for a few minutes. Then add half of the flour and mix well.

Next, add the curry powder, salt, and olive oil, and mix again. Let the mixture rest for 20 minutes, and you’ll notice it has risen to double the size. Mix it well again, and knead the dough on a floured surface until it’s smooth and soft.

Allow it to rise for about half an hour, then roll it out and let it rest for 15 minutes. Preheat a skillet and place the dough unto it, allowing it to cook for approximately 22 minutes, turning it a few times to ensure it’s well cooked through.

Once ready, you’ll notice the dough has risen and has a beautiful curry aroma. Slice it and serve as a side dish, or enjoy it on its own.
