Musik] Will is back with another video and today we’re making the easiest and most delicious snack bar shashlik in the world. This recipe tastes just like the one from your favorite snack bar or the one you get from the fair. In this video, I’ll explain step-by-step how to make this recipe.

Before we get started, let me tell you that this recipe is available in written form and as a PDF on our website. You can find the link in the description below. Everything we’re using in this recipe is also listed and linked in the description. Some of them are affiliate links, which means I’ll get a small commission if you purchase them, but you won’t have to pay anything extra.

For our snack bar shashlik, we need about 2 kilos of pork neck, lots of onions, 4 bell peppers, 2 cans of peeled tomatoes, 6 tablespoons of paprika powder, 2 tablespoons of tomato paste, 4 garlic cloves, a little bit of honey (1-2 tablespoons, depending on your preference for sweetness), a bit of oil, salt, pepper, and some vegetable broth to add flavor to the dish. We’ll need about 250-500 ml of vegetable broth.

Let’s start by preparing the ingredients. We’ll cut the pork into small pieces, as per your preference for the size of the skewers you want to make. We’ll also prepare the rest of the ingredients, as it will help us save time later. You don’t need any special cooking or grilling skills for this recipe, and anyone can follow this recipe easily.

We’ll then add a little oil to our Dutch oven and heat it over high heat. Once the Dutch oven is hot, we’ll add the skewers one by one and cook them until they’re browned on all sides. Don’t put all the skewers in at once, as they will start boiling instead of browning, which isn’t what we want. Once the skewers are cooked, we’ll set them aside to cool down a bit.

Next, we’ll add honey to the Dutch oven and reduce the heat. We’ll stir it around until it caramelizes a bit, but not too much as we don’t want it to burn. We’ll then add garlic, onions, pepper, and tomatoes to it. Once the onions turn translucent, we’ll add tomato paste and stir. After that, we’ll add the peeled tomatoes, a bit of broth, and our paprika powder. We’ll then season with salt and pepper, and let it simmer for a few minutes until it thickens a bit.

We’ll then add the skewers to the Dutch oven and pour some more broth over them until they’re submerged. We’ll let it simmer for an hour and a half at around 150-160℃. After that, we’ll remove the cover and cook it again for a few minutes until the sauce thickens a bit more.

And that’s it! Our snack bar shashlik is ready! You can add other vegetables or herbs to this recipe as per your liking. This dish is easy to prepare and tastes incredibly delicious. You’ll love the taste of it!
