It’s a classic German dessert that is sure to warm up your insides on even the coldest of days. If you’ve never tried it before, you’re in for a real treat. Bratapfel recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 large apples
  • 50 g marzipan
  • 50 g raisins
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons chopped nuts
  • Cinnamon to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180℃.
  2. Core the apples, removing the seeds and creating a little well in the center.
  3. Mix the marzipan and raisins together.
  4. Place the marzipan and raisin mixture into the well in each apple.
  5. Drizzle honey over the top of each apple and sprinkle with chopped nuts and cinnamon.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the apples are tender.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite whipped cream or ice cream.
