Hey partypeople! I’ve got some amazing recipes for you all today featuring one of my fave ingredients: G-L-A-S-N-U-D-E-L-N! Yup, we’re diving into the delicious world of glass noodles, also known as cellophane noodles or bean thread noodles. First off, we’ve got “Gebratene Glasnudeln mit asiatischem Gemüse” (translation: Fried glass noodles with Asian vegetables). Oh baby, this dish is a definite crowdpleaser.
Gebratene Glasnudeln mit asiatischem Gemüse
Ingredients: - 150g glass noodles
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions: 1. Soak the noodles in hot water for 5-10 minutes until softened. Drain and set aside. 2. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant. 3. Add the sliced bell pepper and cook until slightly softened. 4. Add the softened glass noodles and soy sauce, then season with salt and pepper. Toss everything together until heated through. 5. Serve hot and enjoy!

Ingredients: - 100g glass noodles
- 2 cups mixed greens
- 1 small carrot, julienned
- 1/4 cup sliced cucumber
- 1/4 cup sliced bell pepper
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon honey
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions: 1. Soak the noodles in hot water for 5-10 minutes until softened. Drain and set aside. 2. In a large bowl, mix together the mixed greens, julienned carrot, sliced cucumber and bell pepper. 3. In a small bowl, whisk together the sesame oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, honey, salt, and pepper until well combined. 4. Add the softened glass noodles to the vegetable mixture, pour the dressing on top, toss everything together until well coated. 5. Serve chilled and enjoy!
