  4. Add the bacon and onion to the sauce.
  5. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer. Add the Mehlklöße to the water and let them cook for about 20 minutes, or until they float to the surface.
  6. Remove the Mehlklöße from the water and add them to the sauce. Serve hot!
