Poppy Seed Crumble Cheesecake

Ingredients:

  • 300g flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 150g sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 150g butter at room temperature
  • 500g Quark (German-style fresh cheese)
  • 200g sour cream
  • 4 tbsp poppy seeds
  • 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 125g butter, melted
  • 150g flour
  • 100g sugar

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 175C/350F.
  2. Combine flour, baking powder, 150g sugar, 1 egg, and 150g butter in a bowl. Mix until smooth dough forms.
  3. Spread dough out evenly in a 10 inch springform pan, pressing down lightly. Chill in fridge for 30 min.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix Quark, sour cream, poppy seeds, vanilla sugar, 3 eggs, and melted butter until smooth.
  5. Spread mixture evenly over the dough.
  6. In another bowl, mix 150g flour and 100g sugar for the streusel topping.
  7. Gradually add melted butter and mix until crumbly.
  8. Sprinkle over the Quark mixture.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes until golden brown.

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 130g coconut oil, melted
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) milk of choice
  • 500g Quark (German-style fresh cheese)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp poppy seeds
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 150g sugar

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 175C/350F.
  2. Combine gluten-free flour, 150g sugar, baking soda, and 1 tsp vanilla extract in a bowl.
  3. Add melted coconut oil and milk, mix until smooth dough forms.
  4. Spread dough out evenly in a 10 inch springform pan, pressing down lightly. Chill in fridge for 30 min.
  5. Meanwhile, mix Quark, eggs, poppy seeds, 1 tsp vanilla extract, and 150g sugar until smooth.
  6. Spread mixture evenly over the dough.
  7. In another bowl, mix 150g gluten-free flour, 100g sugar, and 130g melted coconut oil for the streusel topping.
  8. Sprinkle over the Quark mixture.
  9. Bake for 60-70 minutes until golden brown.

  3. Spread dough out evenly in a 10 inch springform pan, pressing down lightly. Chill in fridge for 30 min.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix Quark, 3 eggs, 75g sugar, 1 packet vanilla sugar, lemon juice, and poppy seeds until smooth.
  5. Spread mixture evenly over the dough.
  6. In another bowl, mix 250g flour, 125g sugar, 1 packet vanilla sugar, and 125g butter for the streusel topping.
  7. Use your hands to crumble the mixture over the Quark mixture.
  8. Bake for 50-55 minutes until golden brown.

  3. Roll out dough on a floured surface to 5mm thickness.
  4. Cut out circles using a cookie cutter.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix Quark, 50g sugar, 1 egg, cornstarch, and poppy seeds until smooth.
  6. Place a dollop of the Quark mixture onto each circle of dough.
