This Trilece recipe is a great option for dessert during the holy month of Ramadan. It’s a traditional three milk cake that’s super easy to make:
Ingredients:
- 1 box of yellow cake mix
- 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 can of evaporated milk
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Prepare yellow cake mix according to package instructions
- Once cake has cooled, poke holes all over the top with a fork
- Mix together the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, heavy cream, and vanilla extract
- Pour the milk mixture over the cake, making sure it soaks in evenly
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or overnight
- Serve cold

Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 4 eggs, separated
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
- In a medium bowl, sift together flour and baking powder
- In a large bowl, beat egg yolks with sugar until creamy

- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
- Roll out puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface, then transfer it to a 9 inch pie dish
- Saute asparagus in a skillet over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes, then add in ham or bacon and cook for an additional minute

- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the mixture
- In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until combined
- Pour egg mixture over the top of the pie

- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- 1 avocado, peeled and pitted
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Heat a large skillet over medium high heat
- Add in ground turkey and cook until no longer pink
- Stir in red onion, garlic powder, paprika, and cumin, and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, or until onion is soft
- In a blender or food processor, combine avocado, cilantro, lime juice, and salt, and blend until smooth
- In the same skillet as the turkey, add in spiralized zucchini and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, or until tender
- Divide turkey mixture and zucchini noodles into two bowls, then drizzle avocado sauce on top
- Serve warm
Garlic Shrimp Zucchini Noodles
#### Ingredients:
- 2 zucchinis, spiralized
- 1/2 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat
- Add in garlic and red pepper flakes, and cook for 1 minute, or until fragrant
- Add in shrimp and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, or until pink
- Stir in spiralized zucchini, salt, and black pepper, and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes, or until tender
- Divide mixture into two bowls
- Serve warm
